A SINGULAR TERROIR
At 900 meters of altitude, our mate grows in the heart of the biodiversity of the Santa Catarina region, in the great valley of the Iguaçu river, Brazil.
As with wine, terroir has a decisive influence on mate's final flavor. The minerals in the soil bring more or less bitterness, length or astringency to the final brew.
This region has the distinction of producing a high-quality mate that is particularly balanced, with herbal, floral notes and moderate bitterness.
TRADITIONAL ORGANIC FARMING
For over 100 years, our partner has kept their passion and know-how alive, growing a native yerba renowned for its original taste and famed for its smoothness.
The leaves of this organic yerba mate are harvested at maturity every 12 months. After harvest, the mate is dried naturally (smoke-free) before being enjoyed fresh, or going through an additional stage of aging or roasting.

Reçu très rapidement avec un petit mot personnalisé c’est touchant.
C’est mon premier maté je commence tout juste cette boisson. Les conseils m’on aidé à à choisir. C’est quand même amer il va falloir un peu de temps pour s’habituer
1ère dégustation de maté : goût particulier qui se rapproche plus du thé que du café légèrement amère mais pas désagréable.
Petit soucis d’emballage photo ci-jointe, le zip du sachet était collé que d’un côté du coup je le ferme avec une pince à linge mais rien de grave.
découverte, pas trop d'amertume. Pas mal pour commencer.

Livraison rapide du produit commandé, il me reste à vérifier les bienfaits du maté à l’usage.
C'est ma première commande de maté vert après avoir consommé un maté avec cédrat et menthe d'une autre marque. J'avais peur que le gout soit amer et fort mais non il est très agréable et sera désormais ma première tasse au petit déjeuner, je ne bois pas de café mais du thé vert ou blanc en dehors du maté.
