Another essential tool for consuming traditional mate, the mate bombilla (or mate straw) is a straw or filter used to drink the yerba mate infusion from the mate gourd.

Our bombillas are handcrafted by our craftsman, on the border of Argentina and Uruguay.

Several types are available in different sizes and alloys:

- In Alpaca, in regular and large sizes

- Made of Stainless Steel

- Made of Alpaca and silver plated

- Engraved in Alpaca

Choosing the right bombilla for your mate can be more or less complex. The larger your gourd, the wider the bombilla you'll need.

Alpaca is the most commonly used alloy because it is stronger than steel, but just as rustproof.
