Preparation tips
We made these mate tea infusions so that they could be enjoyed like tea .
We recommend infusing between 2 and 4g of mate tea per cup , or around 16g for 1L.
You can infuse our recipes in a tea ball , in a French press or in our gourds and filter the infusion using a bombilla . If you infuse these recipes in a gourd, we recommend not exceeding 4g in order to obtain a balanced flavor.
Can we eat it iced?
Yes, infusions and mate tea are perfectly enjoyed iced . They offer a refreshing drink ideal for hot days, while retaining their benefits and aromas .

J'ai testé plusieurs maté (je ne connaissais pas cette boisson caféiné)Globalement, leur gout ressemble beaucoup au thé, dans toutes leurs versions, et la préparation est la même. Je n'ai pas ressenti la caféine. Cette version au fruit est bonne, comme les autres, et les sachets refermables très bien fait et pratiques pour une fois
Je ne connaissais pas le maté, j'ai pu donc tester cette infusion après m'être renseignée un peu dessus pour savoir de quoi il s’agissait. Le maté est une infusion stimulante riche en caféine, il est traditionnellement consommé réinfusé toute la journée. Les infusions de maté de chez YVY sont biologiques, la version aux fruits exotiques que j'ai choisi est douce, fruitée et n'a aucune amertume. On peut les réinfuser jusqu’à 3 fois. Le goût est assez leger, je pense qu'il vaut mieux être généreux sur les quantités mises à infuser et le laisser au moins 10 minutes avant dégustation. La pochette est bien pratique avec une fermeture zip prévue pour garder un maximum de fraîcheur. En espérant que mon avis ou mes conseils vous aiderons ❤️

A GRAND CRU TERROIR
Our mates are grown using agroforestry , this method allows the plant to draw its nutrients from the rich and diverse biodiversity of southern Brazil.
Coming from the terroir of São Mateus do Sul, in the south of Paraná, this mate is a grand cru due to its terroir and the greater shade provided by the imposing Araucarias. The harvesting methods and the care given to the plant are also determining factors in order to obtain a grand cru mate !
As the leaves grow more slowly, the flavors of yerba mate will become more concentrated, acquiring a richer, fruitier and more complex taste.
RESPONSIBLE AGRICULTURE
In addition to being a great vintage, our mate is grown with respect for the environment and all stakeholders.
Organic for over 50 years, our leaves are harvested at maturity every two years, to achieve exceptional quality and balance.
Fair , our values drive us every day to build a viable model. Beyond offering working and living comfort to all stakeholders in the production chain, concrete actions are implemented on a daily basis to help develop the region.
Our mate is dried naturally (without smoke).
