La Calebasse à maté artisanale Camionero est fabriquée en Uruguay par notre artisan, avec l'aide des ses meilleurs récoltes de courges.
Recouvrant la calebasse, le cuir est idéal pour maintenir l’eau à température, protéger des brûlures et des chocs.
Pour imperméabiliser la courge et la protéger, notre artisan a posé un cerclage en acier inoxydable.
Bien entretenue, cette calebasse à une durée de vie comprise entre 5 et 10 ans

Why mate?
Mate is a traditional South American beverage, prepared from the leaves of the yerba mate tree.
It is rich in antioxidants , vitamins and minerals , and has stimulating properties similar to those of coffee and tea. It can help improve concentration , energy and digestion .
How to prepare and consume maté?
Mate is traditionally prepared in a gourd and consumed with a bombilla , a metal filter straw.
The gourd is filled with about 2/3 yerba mate, hot water (not boiling, about 70-80°C) is added and it is sipped through the bombilla.
When to drink maté?
Mate can be consumed at any time of day, depending on individual preferences and needs.
Because it contains caffeine, it is often enjoyed in the morning or early afternoon for a boost of energy and concentration.
What does maté taste like?
We carefully select our different yerba mate for their exceptional flavors: sweet and complex , very close to the flavor of a green tea .
