La Calebasse à maté artisanale Camionero gravée est fabriquée, à la main, par notre artisan uruguayen.
Gravé à la main, le cerclage en Alpaca vient isoler la calebasse afin de protéger la courge de l’humidité.
Le cuir teinté recouvrant la calebasse est idéal pour maintenir l’eau à température, protéger des brûlures et des chocs.
Les calebasses artisanales sont issues de la collaboration exclusive avec notre artisan partenaire, un des plus talentueux d'Uruguay !
Utilisée quotidiennement et bien entretenue, cette calebasse a une durée de vie comprise entre 5 et 10 ans.

Why mate?
Mate is a traditional South American drink, prepared from the leaves of the yerba mate tree. It is rich in antioxidants , vitamins and minerals , and has stimulant properties similar to coffee and tea. It can help improve concentration , energy and digestion .
How to prepare and consume mate?
Mate is traditionally prepared in a calabash and consumed with a bombilla, a metal filtering straw. The calabash is filled about 2/3 full of yerba mate, hot water (not boiling, about 70-80°C) is added and sipped through the bombilla.
When to drink mate?
Mate can be consumed at any time of the day, depending on individual preferences and needs. As it contains caffeine, it is often enjoyed in the morning or early afternoon for a boost of energy and focus.
What does mate taste like?
We carefully select our different yerba mate for their exceptional flavors: sweet and complex , very close to the flavor of green tea .
