THE ORIGIN
In 2017, Paul discovered yerba mate, or rather tereré , in one of the least known and visited countries in South America: Paraguay .
“ It was impossible to miss out on this drink. Everyone drinks it and shares it! Whether at work, on the bus, or at home, there will always be someone to share their maté with you. ”
A few months later, he returned to France with his calabash, his bombilla and his yerba, and visited his friend, Alexis.
Surprised by the South American drink, Alexis immediately falls in love with it!

OUR SELECTION
It all started in 2018.
As passionate mate drinkers, we want to share this beverage by rigorously selecting an exceptional organic yerba mate .
Our values and our conviction drive us every day to promote and build a viable model based on respect for all stakeholders .
To achieve this, we took the time to select a producer who is similar to us.
In order to protect the natural habitat, our producer refrains from using chemicals such as synthetic fertilizers, insecticides or herbicides.
In addition to organic certification , our producer respects its employees and is Fairtrade certified.
This requirement is essential to be able to offer quality mate, grown under optimal conditions.
INNOVATIVE AGRICULTURE
In recent years, numerous health prevention campaigns have led to a questioning of certain agricultural techniques that are harmful to humans and the environment .
Keen to pass on a viable legacy to future generations, our associated producers decided in 1980 to practice 100% organic and fair agriculture in agroforestry .
Our yerba mate grows within the Curitiba forest itself. This method of cultivation, at the heart of biodiversity, allows the mate plant to flourish and produce exceptionally high-quality leaves . Harvesting takes place every two years to promote optimal plant growth and preserve the natural balance.
Our support for organic farming is a point on which we are uncompromising. By automatically excluding all non-organic crops from our purchases, we hope to raise awareness among producers and motivate them to adopt healthy farming practices .

OUR FAIR COMMITMENT
We are very proud of the social and solidarity commitment of our producer partners who have been actively involved in fair trade since 2006 .
Several concrete actions have been implemented, such as the purchase of school supplies and the construction of new roads. These actions are also reflected in the quality of work life, fair compensation, and employee participation in the company's results.
Our commitment to undertaking socially responsible actions is paramount in order to build a viable and sustainable model in regions that are sometimes overlooked. We wish to intensify our actions by developing new projects.
The objective is to improve access to education while modernizing working methods in order to make family production more powerful in the face of different cooperatives.
