DELIVERY TIMES
Upon receipt of your order, it is processed immediately by our services.
For home delivery, the delivery time is 1-2 working days for any order placed before 11:00 am.
For delivery to a collection point, the delivery time is between 1 and 3 days .
RETURNS
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
You have 14 days to contact us about this. To make a return, you must provide us with a receipt or proof of purchase.
At that point, you will be able to take advantage of a refund or an exchange .
Return shipping costs are your responsibility.

TRACK YOUR PACKAGE
When your package is collected, you will receive a tracking code for your package by email.
You can also track your package in your personal space or directly on our order tracking page by simply entering your postal code and the tracking number you received by email.

Gift cards never expire: the gift card code grants access to a balance that can be spent on more than one order. Gift card balances are applied to the total order value, which may include taxes and shipping fees.

If you are buying a gift card for someone else, you must forward the gift card email to the recipient!
IS OUR MATE CERTIFIED ORGANIC?
Our mate comes from organic agroforestry .
Agroforestry is a “semi-wild” farming method, meaning that the mate plants grow freely in the heart of the forest and draw their resources from the great biodiversity offered by the forests of southern Brazil.
Certified by ECOCERT , no chemicals or GMOs have been used to cultivate our mate since 1970 .
WHAT DOES MATE TASTE LIKE?
Mate is a plant in its own right , therefore it has its own unique flavor which depends on the different types of mate and their quality.
Medium and low-quality yerba mate is very bitter , due to the cultivation methods and premature harvesting . Generally, the leaves are harvested every year before they reach full maturity. This inevitably affects the taste; for comparison, an olive harvested before it's ripe will naturally be more bitter.
We harvest the leaves every two years , which makes our mate milder and naturally sweeter.
We also offer different types of yerba mate: Green, 24-month aged, and Roasted. The flavor of these yerba mates differs drastically.
• Green mate is similar to green tea in its mildness.
• 24-month aged mate is the original mate, with its nutty flavors.
• Roasted yerba mate is the perfect middle ground between coffee and tea. It's the ideal mate for cutting down on, or even gradually stopping, coffee consumption!
HOW TO BREW MATE?
There are several methods of brewing mate and it depends on your equipment and preferences.
You can brew your yerba mate with a tea ball or using our biodegradable tea bags . This brewing method has the advantage of significantly reducing the bitterness of the yerba mate. We recommend this method for new yerba mate drinkers to help them become accustomed to the flavor.
If you're a yerba mate enthusiast and prefer to brew your infusion to your liking, we recommend using a French press. This allows you to control the strength of your brew and the amount of yerba mate used . It's the best way to share your yerba mate if you don't have a gourd!
Of course, if you have a calabash , the traditional infusion is the most suitable.
WHERE ARE OUR GOURDS & BOMBILLAS MADE?
They are handmade in Uruguay, near the Argentinian border.
Made from the finest gourds selected in southern Brazil for their size and robustness, these calabashes are true works of art , crafted with respect for ancestral know-how.
The size and shape of the gourds depend on the gourd chosen, so they are all unique.
ARE THE CALABASES CURED?
To extend its lifespan and avoid any risk of mold or cracking, it is necessary to cure our handcrafted gourds before their first use.
QUESTIONS ABOUT THE TEMPERA® RANGE
TEMPERA® GUARANTEE
Tempera® products are guaranteed against any manufacturing or material defects, and their thermal efficiency is guaranteed as long as they are used in accordance with the instructions for use.
This warranty does not cover damaged parts or defects resulting from alteration, accident, or improper use.
For proper use and maintenance of your product, please refer to the instructions provided with it.
OPTIMIZE THE PERFORMANCE OF YOUR TEMPERA® THERMOS
Prepare your Tempera® thermos for optimal performance: pour hot or cold water inside to preheat or precool it.
Leave for about five minutes to stabilize the temperature, then drain the water.
Then fill it with your favorite drink, whether it's hot, cold, or iced.
Don't forget to close the cap quickly to best preserve the temperature.
CLEAN BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using for the first time, make sure to wash your product thoroughly. Hand washing is recommended to preserve its durability.
1. Fill your thermos with lukewarm water and a little mild detergent .
2. Leave for a few minutes.
3. Clean the inside with a sponge or a soft, damp cloth.
4. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean towel.

ARE TEMPERA® PRODUCTS RUST-RESISTANT?
Tempera® products are made from high-quality stainless steel, specially selected for its corrosion resistance and durability. However, proper care is essential to preserve these properties. If you see marks that look like rust, they are likely deposits of free iron particles, dirt, or residue that has contaminated the surface.
To remove these marks, we recommend using a mild, non-abrasive household cleaner applied with a sponge, soft brush, or clean cloth. You can also opt for a product specifically designed for cleaning or polishing stainless steel. Another option is to soak your item in a mixture of warm water and baking soda, white vinegar, or lemon juice. Repeat the process as needed for best results.
After each cleaning, be sure to rinse your thermos thoroughly to remove all product residue, following the care instructions provided. By adopting these simple steps, you will prolong the life and appearance of your Tempera® product.
CAN TEMPERA® THERMOS STORE MILK?
We do not recommend using dairy products in the Tempera® thermos .
Indeed, dairy products can promote bacterial growth when stored in a sealed container for extended periods. This can not only alter the taste but also pose health risks.
To get the most out of your thermos, we recommend using it for hot or cold drinks such as maté, coffee, tea, or water. If you accidentally poured dairy products into it, be sure to thoroughly clean the thermos with hot water and a little white vinegar.
HOW TO DEEP CLEAN THE TEMPERA® THERMOS?
To ensure perfect hygiene and preserve the durability of your Tempera® thermos, rinse it immediately after each use with hot water to remove any beverage residue. This will prevent odors or stains from becoming ingrained.
From time to time, you can give the thermos a thorough cleaning; here's how:
1. Cleaning with baking soda
• Add a tablespoon of baking soda to your thermos.
• Fill it with hot water.
• Leave for a maximum of 1 hour, then gently scrub the inside with a long-handled brush or soft sponge.
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
2. Deodorize with white vinegar or lemon
• Pour 50 ml of white vinegar (or the juice of one lemon) into the thermos.
• Top up with hot water.
• Leave to stand for about 1 hour, then rub and rinse thoroughly.
3. Cleaning the cap
• Clean the different parts with hot water and a small amount of white vinegar and water.
• Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
5. Dry completely
After each cleaning, dry your thermos with a soft cloth or leave the thermos and lid to air dry, fully open, to prevent any accumulation of moisture or bad odors.
Extra tip
For daily maintenance, use a soft bottle brush to clean the walls without scratching them. Avoid abrasive cleaners or rough sponges to preserve the finish of your thermos.
