TEMPERA®: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
GETTING THE BEST FROM THE TEMPERA® INSULATED GOURD
Prime your Tempera® gourd for optimal performance: pour hot or cold water inside to pre-heat or pre-cool it.
Let it sit for about five minutes to stabilize the temperature, then empty the water.
Then fill it with your favorite drink - hot, cold or iced. Remember to close the cap quickly to preserve the temperature as long as possible.
CARING FOR THE TEMPERA® GOURD
Before first use, make sure to wash your product thoroughly. Hand washing is recommended to preserve its durability:
1. Fill your gourd with lukewarm water and a little mild detergent.
2. Let it sit for a few minutes.
3. Clean the inside with a soft, damp sponge or cloth.
4. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean towel.
For an occasional deep clean, mix a dose of baking soda with hot water. Let the mixture soak in your gourd for up to one hour. Then rinse carefully and finish with a mild-detergent wash.
